Q: Will my skin peel off?
A: No, only the dead, outer layers of your skin are removed, revealing renewed, healthier skin.
Q: Is it painful?
A: No, the only sensation you will feel is slight prickliness that is not painful at all.
Q: Is it just a peel?
A: No, treatments include cleansing and exfoliating, then the peel itself followed by a vitamin infusion treatment and mask.
Q: Will it leave my skin red?
A: For most of the peels, you can come in on your lunch break and return to work without any redness. However, we do advise down time after the Catalyst Retinol and Alpha Beta peels as these are very serious peels that leave the skin sensitive to sunlight and cosmetics afterwards.
Q: Can I go out into the sun afterwards?
A: For most peels, yes, it is safe to go out into the sun afterwards, though we recommend using 30+ sun screen and advise against sunbathing. For the Catalyst Retinol and Alpha Beta peels we advise against any sunlight exposure directly after the treatment, however.
